| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I don't know how they do it, but they keep making this series more and more interesting. Misa-chan is an idiot, but at the same time, it seems like she generally just doesn't care. So, it's not as if she's an idiot, but more like someone that doesn't see the consequences. Ignorant is probably the better word for her. L's reaction to Misa-chan's tape was freakin' crazy. He practically fainted from hearing about the existence of Death Gods. Light's reaction was pretty cool too. They both FREAKED, lol. I really want Light and Misa to meet, but at the same time I don't because Misa just might kill him. Man this stuff is amazing, I can't wait for 13. |

Everytime I hear Misa's voice it's just...HARUHI SUZUMIYA WITH A DEATH NOTE MWAHAHHAHAHAHHA!!! actually Haruhi Suzumiya wouldn't need a Death Note anyway, she can just will someone's existence away, even worse than dying... anyway, so shinigami can be killed. I'm not sure what that pan over Rem's face after she told Misa the story meant. Misa was like, "I'm gonna tell Kira!" right after Rem told her not to tell anyone, so haha maybe she was like "What a bitch." and yea, wonderful reactions on L and Light's part. Trying hard to not dissect some of the logic here and just enjoy the chess game. :) |
| Well, the thing that made me think she was an idiot was when she was listening to Kira's response to her, she stopped listening halfway through and decided to make her own tape. She didn't even care what was being said to her. |

| When L threw his hands up in the air before he fell over, that was odd, yet very funny. Xinil, this won't spoil anything: In the manga, L does not throw his arms up, he just falls over. I never read the manga so I'm just speculating here. I also find it interesting that L and Light are /so/ closely matched, in terms of intelligence. It might just be lazy writing... but what if it isn't? Light starts with L. Maybe they're connected prior to this whole situation, somehow, and that's foreshadowing.. though this idea is less likely than the above, because of course Light /doesn't/ start with L in hirigana OR kanji, so it's probably not something the Japanese would have thought of when writing the series. |

I was thinking it would be Light and Misa vs. L kind of thing, but now it seems like Misa is more on L's side (on purpose or not, I have no idea). And her voice is very obnoxious @.@ Well, it keeps things interesting, I guess. |
