| Just a One Piece re-cap episode, basically narration over all previous episodes. When it comes to fillers or re-cap episodes, I would never complain. I will give Oda, and the animators as much rest and time that they need to recover, knowing that they over-work themselves. So that way, they can be more productive and healthier. But sadly, despite it being the holidays, Oda still draws and write chapters. Hopefully he gets to draw and write at a slower pace and is able to get more ahead with more rest. As long as Yamato gets the spotlight in the re-cap, my mood and day always lights up. I'm biased, so of course i'm going to love this episode xD At least we got to hear Bartolomeo, we haven't heard from him for 250 episodes, so theres that. Speaking of Bartolomeo, I wonder what hes up to right now aside from narrating this episode lol. I will continue to stream to support them ! |

| Last time we saw Barto he was burning flags and spreading the word about Luffy like a good boy. Fine recap episode. Who needs to watch 100+ episodes of Wano when you got Barto and Tama narration. @_cjessop19_ This seems legit. Perhaps the entry was made in advance without knowledge of the recap. Other sources were saying that episode 1006 is supposed to drop on January 9th along with the new opening. |

| According to wikipedia, this episode is supposed to be a separate entry by itself, as episode 1005 is labeled "The Power of Ice Oni! A New Version of the Plague Rounds!" - which airs on Jan 9th. Probably expect this episode discussion to be moved to a separate entry on MAL? @FMmatron perhaps, just need to wait and see what the database moderators will do about it. |

| Despite the fact this episode being recap, it was still enjoyable to once more go through a lot of the highlights of this arc, especially with Barto's and Tama's commentary, which made it often times hilarious :D The Red Hawk vs Holdem is still super satisfying to me, not to mention the absolute crazy animation in this part. And as a man of culture, of course screen time for Yamato = 5/5 episode. Looking forward to see what will happen next year. |

| i got angry cose i wanted to see something new and i saw this BUT i guess this is good, future people wont have to waste hours and hours watching the wano arc with this recap episode, good for them. I wish i knew beforehand that they were gonna do a recap episode..... now that i think about it have they ever make a recap episode like this for the other arcs? i cant remember any, are they totally slipping my mind? |

| This is just a recap, but at least it's being properly narrated by Bartolomeo and Tama, so there's that charming factor added into it, even if only a bit. |

| Aside from Barto and Tama narrating this, the episode itself was basically obsolete. Never liked recap episodes and the series does this by default in a lesser extent in the beginning of every episode. I sort of feel like they just could've announced that there wouldn't be a new episode this week. I'm pretty sure most people would've understood due to the holidays. |
| Yeah pretty standard recap episode it does what it promises XD I have always viewed recap episodes as oh yeah it's one of those episodes; sort of a I could take it or leave it outlook. Because they usually are the same kind of format for most series with a few exceptions that mix up the presentation or recap the series events in a somewhat more creative framing. But, I agree with what others have been saying; having it presented by Bartolomeo and Tama was a nice and welcome touch. So yeah what else is there to say? New Year more One Piece on the horizon! |

| As Wano has been the longest arc in One Piece up to date, it's great to have a recap of all the previous events to keep up with it all, and not just boring here's a scene and the next format either, it was surely enhanced by the narration of Tama and Bartolomeo. Great recap. |
| That was actually quite refreshing! Im glad the staffs can have some rest :) coincidentally, i was super busy the past 2 weeks too so it’s as if time froze and im still caught up with one piece :D I loved bartho’s commentaries lol he wished for the other 2 rookies to get beaten bc he wanted to see more of luffy. the dude’s such a fanatic >0< it’s like a canon appreciation special as i am posting this, chopper (12.24) roger (12.31) ace and oda (01.01) 's birthday passed.. so belated happy birthday aswell! |
