I posted a question in 2017 in the forum on a thread dedicated to identifying characters (though I was seeking an anime title). I had completely forgotten having asked there, and just now I got a bug up my ass and Googled some relevant terms and the very first hit was the forum page. It turned out that someone else's reply ("Tales from the Earthsea") was the one that I was looking for, but I still wanted to thank you for trying (the thread is [unsurprisingly] archived, so I had to come here in order to do so). 🙂
