| Good stuff. A lot of flashback again (including flashback to the SAME episode), but it wasn't as obnoxious this time around. Plus, it looks like we're gonna get a follow-up to the start of the show soon. |

| Well i personally loved the episode... It was a lot better than the recent ones and had also a feeling of the old classic naruto...What regards the opening and ending songs....They sucked!!! |

| yeah, nice ep (somehow emotional!), but not overwheling! lots of flashbacks and talking! but it's ok as long as the next eps won't be the same! |

| Towards the end of this episode, when they were all praying for Chiyo, they were playing this AMAZING piece of music. It totally grabbed my attention and set the mood very well. But really, 3 weeks for this? I'm going to stand by what I said last episode that they could have fit all of this in the hour special last time. Too many flashbacks, typical surprised reactions, etc. I'm happy for Gaara and all, but he was soooo much cooler when he was a badass. |
| the ep. was ok, still slow and tons of flashbacks, and a 3 week period definetly sucks I think this is the slowest anime on history now. I wouldnt mind, AT ALLl, seeing fillers if the series speed up =O! I didnt like the op, definetly didnt like the song. the ed was funny, cant wait to see Sai (although I hope they show more gaara next ep.) |

| They had us waiting 3 weeks for this!? You must be shittin' me! The flash backs were over long as usual. Then I personally think, they should have held back doing the new OP and ED. At lest 'till Sai was actually featured in the episode. I spent a bit of time rewinding, because I got distracted by what will happen; then by the shows' obvious flow toward the ending. At one point I thought it got a little too silly; the part with the girls mooning all over Gaara. That was a needless bit of fluff, considering someone important had just died. That's just me - maybe I'm over analyzing things, it wouldn't be the 1st time. The only parts I truly enjoyed was the music, and the ending when every one prayed. Oh, and the realization that Naruto doesn't cry as much - he just grunts in a very manly way. |

| Watched the first half, scetched through the 2nd half in 10 seconds. Another usuall bad ep of Naruto Shippuden. Lolz, shippuden anime just sucks :D. |

| I think they finally put some more effort in the art and animation of this episode. It looked much better, with cleaner lines and colors and better animation overall. I also liked the emotional factor of it. I think best episode of Shippudden up until now.. :) 5/5 |

| This was nice episode..:) very emotional and sad.. i like people finally start to notice gaara... and i felt so bad about chiyo dying.. btw. naked sasuke in opening was insane.. xD |
| I forgot about this episode, it really was a heavy hitter seeing Granny Chiyo pass the torch to Naruto and Gaara. Comparing her to the Third Hokage was very fitting, I couldn't help but close my eyes and offer prayers for her as well. I was also thinking about how Kankuro treated Naruto when they first met vs now and it goes to show just how much of an impact he's had on everyone around him. |
