| Definitely Chio-chan by a long shot. I first thought it had problems with execution of the comedy but the nonchalant approach to most of them worked quite well as I continued with it. And the comedy was quite fresh, like idk, they felt so new to me given that I've watched and read lots of comedy. Asobi Asobase was fun at the start but the over exaggerated retorts turned stale for me as it went on. Probably because I marathoned it. Well, I marathoned them both, to be fair. And then, there's firetrucking Hanako's yelling voice, ugh... *chalk on chalkboard screeching intensifies* |

At episode 3 of Asobi Asobase I was already tired of overly exaggerated expressions used for punch lines of like every joke. |

| I really liked Chio up until them forcing the Andou x Miyamo ship. It would have been better if none of that ever happened or when Andou's sister joined in |
| chio-chan was enjoyable but it was pretty hit or miss. however i never got bored with asobi asobase. so, yeah. Asobi Asobase. |

| I feel that the comedy offerings this year were really stellar. Asobe Asobasi, Chio-chan, Grand Blue, PTE, and Hinamatsuri were all stand outs for me in a year that had a lot of hit or miss series as a whole. That being said, I would probably vote for Chio-Chan over Asobe Asobase, even though I scored them equally. |
