| That was the most hilarious and stupid 1st episode I've ever seen! The Baby was really fun and I liked his language! Ta buuuu Bahh Baaaaaaaaaaa! -.-' Anyway, the only thing I was suprising that, the baby was naked all the time, I hope on the 2nd episode they will put some clothes on him, "it".. the DEMON!!! 4/5 for now! ;) |

A lot more comedy than I expected, not as much action as I hoped. A lot of people disliked the voicing (especially for Oga, it seems). Maybe they pictured him sounding differently if they're manga-readers. Personally, I like the voicing for most of the characters in the show. I'll stick with it for a while. Only major complaint is the naked baby. Probably stupid to get bent out of shape over it, I know, but it's just... weird. |

| I wasn't going to watch Beelzebub, but I decided to try it and it was funnier than I expected, I just hope the theme doesn't get boring. >< Also, I thought the voice acting was fine. |
| This adaptation loses just about everything in terms of humor and somehow even manages to make jokes stale and annoying within one episode. However it compensates for that with the action, and then comes out on top when you factor in the badass sound track. This to me says that it'll probably take a short while to hit it's stride, but once we move on to the chapters that are more action and less humour we'll be glad we stuck around. That's my take on it anyway. |

| The first episode was pretty funny and little Beelzebub was cute although I hope he doesn't stay naked the whole time, it's kinda weird looking at his little junk >.> I loved the little power up scene at the end, I was wondering if Oga would get/have any type of powers. Will continue to watch for now. |

| Rather good comedy show although I don't like seeing the babie's ass or dick for that matter. Oga will be easily my next Izaya since he has the most amazing evil faces and evil expressions since a while that I have seen! Delon was ratehr amusing too. Oh sheesh, the demon lord wants to destroy humanity yet I find it iornic that he plays a PSP that is and its games made by the humanity that he wants to destroy of all things. ROFL! I do dig that the baby can use electrical attacks and fire ones, which brings me to the best scene for me other than the comedy and that is of when Oga fuzed with the baby. Hildegarde does raise my ecchi interest with her breasts and tight clothing. What really grabbed my attention is its GTO gangster bad asses, I missed that since GTO but most of all the lovely gangster girls  always a plus to me since I can never join them but look and appreciate them. Good comedy with baby's reactions towards everyone, will stick this one. |
| Hoo, one of the best anime of the season, so far~ <3 I don't really fancy their voices though, but it's still nice for a shounen anime <3 Story 9/10 Characters; most of them are delinquents and badass, so 8/10 The opening and ending aren't so nice though, but the animation was kinda smooth. I'll just give 8/10 :3 |

| I don't have much problem with voices or hate them. just baby beel voice pitch is too high. though I would have loved if Ono Daiskue or Sugita Tomokozo voiced Oga. still Konishi Katsuyuki voice is not bad. | I liked it too. Oga's voice is great especially how calm it is for a man with a demon within.. Miyuki Sawashiro as the Baby Beelzebub is awesome... and add another awesome character to Shizuka Itou's resume. Can't wait what next week brings out... Aoi (who's voiced by Aki Toyosaki! :D) maybe? :D --- Randy |

| underwhelming. The pacing was a a bit erratic. At parts it was too fast and other parts (the yakisoba pan scene that didn't appear in the manga) just shouldn'tve happened. The voices weren't that great. To be honest, Oga has a more non-chalant personality and sticking Kamina's voice on such a character just doesn't fit. Furuichi's and Hilda's voice matches great though. All in all, Manga's a bit better, though the meaty bits of the story hasn't been explored yet. Hopefully the show can improve. |

| I didn't expect too much, since I really enjoyed the manga, but the anime's a pretty fair adaption. Furuichi's a lot more interesting in the anime, and I'm looking forward to Oga and Beel's battles. |

As far as reading the manga goes, I wouldn't doubt at all that it's better, but it takes a good bit more for me to read a manga than watch an anime. I'll save that for things I really think I'll enjoy rather than testing out series. Still, as many people as like this episode for some reason, there's enough saying that this one sort of missed the point for me to try number 2. Well, the story gets much better from here on out. I personally liked the untypical characters in the show. The humor was good because they don't exaggerate like some other comedy shows often do. It's mostly straightforward. The only thing I don't like about the show is the same old school setting. I think they could've done better, but I'm not going to lecture you about how school is bad and all, that will only waste my time and yours. Anyways, I say give it another episode or 2. You might find it amusing. But if you don't appreciate humor such as this, I say drop it, it isn't worth your time. |

| I was quite disappointed with first ep. I don't think I laughed at a single joke, and it's not because I knew the jokes from the manga, the anime version doesn't seem to be even half as funny as manga is. First 2 minutes were so bad that I actually wanted to just drop the series right there, but considering I love the manga I thought it might be just a real bad introduction or whatever it was. Turns out I was right. Unfortunately the show didn't get much better when the real story started... First off, the monologue thing was funnier in the manga (or better yet in the vomics). I especially didn't like the fact that they changed the scenery from Furuichi's house to the school's rooftop and the fact that we've seen Beel since the very beginning. Oga showing Beel to Furuichi was one of the gags they've taken out. The gags they left they kinda killed with bad 'performance' and wrong pacing. Of course the pacing of the gags) in manga kinda depends on the way you read it, but if we compare anime to vomics which are colored manga panels placed into a video with voice actors reading the parts, it becomes clear that they killed most of the gags. Also I've no idea why would they add so much of Baby Beel crying/electrocuting everyone... In the first chapter Beel did it only 2 times, first he electrocuted Hilda (and he didn't electrocute Oga and Furuichi at the same time) and the 2nd at the end. IMO anime should follow manga directly, without changing anything. There are rarely changes that make anime version better than manga was. The changes don't usually make a big difference in the 'story' or 'action' series, but forcing changes on gags... not a good idea. | kyaaa~! i think this is going to be my fave this season.. the baby is just too cute, and evil.. XD after arakawa finished, i think this fits as the anime that'd satisfy my hunger for more laughs.. :)) but the baby having no diaper/underwear disturbs me sometimes.. hehe |

| I dunno if I'm going to keep watching this. This is a shounen anime which means absurdly long arcs and absurdly stupid fillers. Not to mention it felt too chaotic to me.I'll see how I feel by the second episode. |

I'm completely agree with this. even though i did enjoy first episode but not as much as manga first chapter. they did change lot of things. which felt very bad. that's why i hate studios to ruin a fine manga adaptation by adding unnecessary scenes and change locations. I really hated when i saw OGA and FURICHI on the rooftop. why would they do that, i still don't get it. then Baby Beel was there already. Then after every 2 minutes beel electric shock, which seems completely out of place. Studio perriort didn't do justice with first episode adaptation, i hope they will follow manga from now on. I also suggest to read manga. You will feel difference. Edit: I just watched those youtube vomic videos. that's just great, and baby beel voice also sounds really good. In anime episode voice pitch is too high. which is like he's yelling instead saying Daa buh. still i hope they will follow manga now or i may end up dropping anime series |

| I'm kinda disappointed in this adaption, the animation didn't seem that good to me, the whole weird texture background and thickly outlining the characters thing just seemed random and pointless to me.. As for the humour, it doesn't quite capture the sharpness of the manga, the timing between Oga & Furuichi's back and forth seemed like it needed to be speed up. I'm not sure why they introduced Beel before the opening, along with his electric shocks (which was over used to hell) to then properly explain how these events happened after the opening, it would have worked much better with Oga narrating his tale to Furuichi first thing. The opening with the rattle would have worked better for the second episode's beginning. I can't help but think the production team or whoever are just "we have a BABY that's NAKED and can ELECTROCUTE people LOLOLOLOLOLOL" I just hope it's not every episode. The ED didn't seem to fit the anime either, I liked the song but, seriously, it had nothing to do with the tone at all. And the random metal-rock music that happened when Oga fought, and a few other instances, to then just completely stop when the action does, seemed really jarring.... I was hoping for something of Gintama or DMC quality, but I feel let down. |
