Synopsis
Once, the scariest thing to Arihito Atobe was his workaholic boss, Kyouka Igarashi. Now, this ex-corporate slave faces a world where monster-filled labyrinths are the norm and teamwork is key to survival. While others are eager to charge headlong into battle, Arihito chooses to become a "rearguard": a class dedicated to helping allies from the back lines. The rearguard gig should be his ticket to avoid repeating his old life, but this opportunity may just shed new light on what it means to support one's partners and work together!

A slow paced story where nothing bad nor exciting happens.
The main character and his harem will always find some hidden power when facing some challenge.
It totally lacks "the hero's journey", but most generic isekais don't have it as well...
This one has an interesting lore. The only thing that kept me going for 20 chapters was to learn more about the world. But this manga is really slow. So slow that I grew tired of it.

Another mindless isekai with no story whatsoever. MC is a loser salaryman who gets to build a harem in a fantasy world while fighting monsters. That's it. How something this generic gets multiple volumes is beyond me. There's lots of action but it's all meaningless with no story or plot. No one is getting revenge. No one is leveling up. It's light fantasy which means no one is ever in danger, and it also means there's no suspense. There's zero buildup to any of the fight scenes. Everything about this series is below average. If you just want fan service then there's way better series
