I just finished KHR and I'm writing this review for you guys who are wondering if you should watch this or not. So what I have to say is, if you haven't started it yet, go for it! If you already have, but are wondering whether you should continue, the answer is again, go for it! You won't regret it.

Like most people, when I first started watching this (which was 3 years ago, btw), after watching half of the first episode, I was so repelled by the weird kid named Reborn, and that wimpy main character Tsuna, that I seriously didn't get interested at all. I decided to give it another try this year, and at the start I pretty much had the same feelings as then, but I stuck around patiently waiting for things to take a turn for the better. And I definitely wasn't mistaken this time!

Story: 8

The story progresses really, really slow in the first 20-25 episodes, mainly emphasizing on the characters, their traits, their personalities, etc. You might go like...why does Tsuna have to get naked every time he goes in dying flames mode? Or why are these little babies showing up one after another? Well, after some point you'll end up watching one episode after another non-stop, and still wonder how those lame-looking characters grew to become so cool and strong and mature. I think that the mafia theme is really nice idea and it adds a touch of uniqueness in the whole "evil villain that has to be defeated" idea. The time jump is also pretty interesting, giving us ~ahem~ "older girls" some eye-candy :P

Art: 8

It's not one of the new ones, so don't expect the latest neat looking art or the great effects, but it's still pretty good. The characters are pretty well drawn most of the time, although simple, but there is great detail when needed.

Sound: 9

I really enjoyed the OST of KHR. Starting from the openings, I mostly liked the 1st one, and the 4th one (by LM.C), the others were not bad either. I almost never watched the endings, cause I generally never do. The tracks within the anime itself, well, I think they were pretty amazing. Some of them were so badass that got you into the mood right away, even after you'd heard the same track over and over again. I did get hooked on a couple tracks and I listen to them even now.

Character: 10

This is the part I liked the most. The characters are so well-developed that you can see through them, always. Almost as if you know them personally. Their personalities are so distinctive that it's clear what they are likely to do, what they won't so, what they like, what they hate...For example, Gokudera is the short-tempered guy who scolds everyone except for Tsuna, and his loyalty is so true. Yamamoto is the easy-going person who forgives easily and stays calm even in hard times. Ryohei is the EXTREMELY straightforward guy with the idea of how a proper man should be. You may think that this is too simple but...that's what I liked about it.

Enjoyment: 9

Through the carefree times, the funny times, the times when they had to fight, they were all enjoyable to the max. I really did feel a lot of stuff watching this anime, and that's the reason you watch them right? Sadness, suspense, peace, happyness, and everything else that keeps you want to know the rest of the story. KYOKUGEN enjoyment!

Overall: 9

I don't think I should say much else, this anime is worth to watch, from the start to the end of it. So don't waste any more time reading stuff around here, go watch!!
