Story 9/10.
Living together with 4 beautiful boys in a big mansion? What could make a better story line, add the anti-social gloom and doom loving girl. Plus the goal to make her into a perfect lady when she obviously is hardheaded about staying in the darkness. And it gives you a perfect comedy.
But what makes this story line unique is not that there are 4 pretty boys trying to make this girl beautiful, but the fact that it's not the kind of thing where the girl realizes she's in love with the boy and they end up together all lovey dovey. Even though I wish there were more romantic parts I'm glad they didn't put to much into it. (If you are looking for it the manga has alot of perfect scenes that got cut out) The romance in this comedy is more subtle, but still heart warming in a funny way.
I have to knock off one point, because there were the Goth Loli sisters and I think they gave them more time then needed.
But basically, I'm saying that the story is halarious and one of a kind.
Art 9/10
Okay, I don't really know why people say that they aren't to fond of the art. Personally, I think it's refreshing and some how diffrent. But I have to knock off to points because of Sunako. She is basically in chibi form through the whole season. It really kind of ruined it, because the other characters would bend down to talk to her which made it hard to see her as a full grown character and not a kid. So, they could have drawn her in normal form more. But other than that I really did like the art.
I also loved the beginging, the art with the music made one of the best openings I've seen.
Sound. 8/10.
If you asked me before reading the manga I would have gave it a 9. But after reading the manga. The voices sounded really, annoying? Sanako sounded creepy, but that's supposed to be her personality. She just over emphasised the voice though. And Kyohei sounded a bit off after the manga. Haroshi bothered me the most... But I loved Yuki's voice. ^.^
I'm giving it an 8 instead of a 6 because of the music. I loved the beginging song and other songs used.
Characters 10/10
Each character contributed to the halarity of the show. The badass, the sexy smart guy, the cutie, and the womenizer. With sunako all under one roof was a perfect blend for comedy.
Enjoyment. 10/10
It had me laughing most of the time and I couldn't stop watching it.
Overall 9/10
I'd love to give it 10/10. But even if it was my favorite I have to give it a 9 because of the little things that bothered me. I suggest you watch this, and if you like it. I do sugguest the manga, which has it's faults but its so much fun to read.
