this was one of the first animes that i started watching and it totally made me want to watch more. i think that the story was great! there were stories inside the main story that helped understand the story more which isnt very common. i mean usually the sub plots go a different way than the main plot and gets ppl all confused but this one made it better and helped answer the background mystery questions. the setting is mostly in the olden days but it works cuz of the present day girl traveling back in time.. that doesnt sound like a good plot but trust me there's more to it. the love triangle(i guess its more like a square)here is just woah. its happy and sad and funny at times but yet sometimes u end up going awwww and that idiot! i like the characters 2. the girls arent useless and the guys know how to kick some ass even though one of them is a perv(hes funny and has his oh u moments). the fights r fucking awesome! they're not fist to fist but there special attacks r impressive. overall i really like this anime and would recommend it to anyone who just started watching animes cuz even though its kinda old its still cool and a good way to decide what kind of animes ur interested in.
