First of all, let me start by giving you the biggest advice of all, putting aside this review, do not listen to any reviews unless they are POSITIVE. Reviews are usually written by people who have a very judgemental personallity and people like that hate things that make people scream out of joy.

Before i started watching Mirai Nikki i read a few negative reviews about it and appearantly, the details of the review were totally right.
However, the conclusion was absolutely wrong, i admit that mirai nikki doesn't do a very good job at what it was meant to be, mirai nikki is not a good thriller or a psychological drama (except for Yuno who is one of the most interesting characters in the history of anime), and appearantly that's the reason of all the bitching.

Ok so let's actually start this review.

Story - A- :

The main idea of Mirai nikki is good, it really is, but appearantly this is not what this anime revolves around, the anime's main source of interest is the relationship of Yuki and Yuno, the two main characters of the show.
While being a little reinforced by their surroundings, you'll find out at the end of this anime that the only characters that you really care for are those two, and if you ask me it's totally fine.

Characters - B - :

Some characters in Mirai nikki are very generic and meaningless, but atleast they don't harm the story, a few characters are well thought of and developed and those are the ones that you are likely to remember.

First of all, we have Yuki and Yuno, which are clearly the most interesting couple i've ever seen in an anime ( Maybe except Kirito and Asuna ).
Yuki is an amazingly well developed character who goes through a logical and major change through the show, you may not really like him at the beginning, but after a while he just does what he has to do and turns the entire show upside down. Then we have Yuno, she is absolutely the main trigger of this show to exist to begin with, she doesn't go through alot of development but that's cause she's already figured out, and you'll find out why later on.
Second of all, we have Yuki's friends, Hinata, some random uninteresting girl, some stupid goofball who keeps making fun of himself and Neon genesis evangelion's tribute.. Akise aru, the mysterious detective guy that you suspect throughout the entire show, sorry for not saying anything about the other characters but Akise is the only one i feel is worth talking about, this character gets little screentime but every time he pops on the screen you're being reminded of why this show is so interesting in the first place, he's the one who's thinking outside of the box and asks himself questions that nobody else has thought asking.

Now, i wanna review something that nobody else reviews and that would be:

Attachment to the characters A+ :

This is something that absolutely doesn't apply to everyone, but if it does apply to you, you're in luck, because you've won a great prize, this show offers the best of the best to people who have a high enough EQ to attach to the characters ( Most people obviously do ), ofcourse i'm only talking about Yuki and Yuno..
You'll find yourself sitting with a blank look on your face, thinking why they are not real when you're finished because they just make the most interesting couple ever written in anime history, and that's because they're so unusual.

Animation - A :

I don't have much to say about the animation of this anime, it's really good in my opinion, if you don't particularly like this kind of animation then it will just do what it's supposed to do.

Music B- :

Not too much to say about the music either... the soundtrack is really forgetable but the opening and ending themes are just classy and cool, especailly the first one ( My opinion ).

Overall B :

I really wanna give it an A+.. i really do.. and that's because that's why i specificly feel about this anime, i've been through a short but amazing ride while watching this show but unfortunately what i like doesn't apply to anyone, everything else i said is pretty much objective so don't worry, just give it a chance ( It gets better after a while, the beginning is not as good, it still is, just not as good, and the rest of the show is amazingly well thought of )

Strong points :

Plot twists
Character development ( To some characters )
Mystery
