Art: 10
The art for this show is actually really good. Most of the scenery shots are absolutely beautiful. Although the character design does take away some of that. Overall the art is really good, especially for DVD.
Sound:10
The sound for Elfen Lied is excellent. The overall sound is great. The soundtrack is absolutely fitting for the show. It has its depressing moments but it fits great with the show. If you pay attention you car hear the amazing soundtrack going almost throughout the entire show.
Character:9
The character design in contrast to the amazing scenery is not that amazing. That being said the character design is still good, but not as great as the scenery.
Character: 10
The characters are almost all lovable, except for a certain person that I will not mention. Nyu is a "babe in the woods' while Lucy is a "vicious killer" by far the best character and most bad ass. Most of the characters are very well developed.
Overall: 10
This anime is very unique in that it has so many different elements that should not work together, but they do. That being said with all the elements in this show, it makes it a masterpiece. The art, sound, character all combine to make a remarkable show. If you enjoy horror, and nudity then this show is a must watch.
