Story: 9
The story is absolutely great !The story Is a psychotic love thriller focusing on the two main characters Yukki and Yuno with tons of great supporting characters, a fast paced plot, a LOT of murder and gore, a plot twist that you'll never see coming, and an ending that'll leave you in tears. There are no filler episodes or any that feel that they didn't serve a purpose, and above all they were all extremely enjoyable. The only problems that I have with the story which are minor are that at certain points, specifically in between episodes the story can feel disjointed like as if you missed something, and there is one plot hole that I found once I had finished the series.

The Animation is simply superb, the characters are all nicely animated and crisp and the art style, especially in the Yuno Physco scenes are done perfectly, and Yukki's reaction to them is done great as well.

Okay seriously you know an opening theme is good when I, someone who usually always skips over the op of most animes watches it every episode, even in the middle of a 7 episode marathon. The first opening theme is my second favorite opening theme of any anime behind Cowboy Bebop's, it just fits Mirai Nikki so Perfectly. The ending songs of both season are good as well, the only bad thing is the second opening theme is kind of lame.

Yukki the main male lead is pretty much a big wimp which may turn off some people but it worked for the show I think, and his few redeeming moments (and by that i mean when he isn't crying behind Yuno and he actually does something heroic) were amazingly satisfying to say the least. Now the real star of the show is Gasai Yuno, The main female lead. She can go from being the cutest and sweetest girl you've ever seen to being a completely psychotic lunatic then next. Literally there will be points where you'll be like "Holy crap what a crazy B!*ch!!" she's whats really gets you to watch more, you'll always be wonder what Yuno's gonna do next. The character development of Yukki is greatly done, and Yuno's back story is just amazing.

If you enjoy action, great characters, a good love story, a jaw dropping plot twist, and don't mind some gore then Mirai Nikki is the show for you! Now do yourself a favor and watch this phenomenal amine!
