Story Wise: the story is very...different, but it works, very well actually. its very symbolic of friendship, love, abuse, abandonment, and the strength to forgive. all of these apply to a certain character if not some, all of them are believable considering the character. overall very creative story considering the main theme.
Characters: there will with out a doubt a character you will love, hate, pity, and relate to in this anime. they all are fleshed out so well even though the anime is only 13 eps. they all have their own charm and personality, which is something needed in alot of anime today.
Overall the anime is simply a masterpiece. Very short but sweet. But it will leave you craving for more at the end, i for one was pretty disappointed of how this all ended. but everything else in this series will most defiantly make up for that.
