I loved this anime completely. I found the plot to be phenomenal, psychologically twisted/thrilling, and strong in depth. I've know a lot of people found themselves somewhat disgusted by the immediate nude content of the main character Lucy to start off the anime but I found that it represented the character and her situation - the depth of who she was in relation to everyone else in the anime and the psychology of how she was perceived by others. I think that the intensity of gore was a factor that was deeply important as well because it again depicted Lucy's character and watching it you developed a sense of understanding of her as did you also in relation to the romance between herself and Kohta. I was terribly not fond of some of the other minor characters in the anime (for example Kohta's cousin I detested, as well as Bando) and although they were necessary to the plot I just didn't like their characters, but hey I suppose in retrospect they made sense where they were. All in all a phenomenal anime and I can't even begin to explain the depth it held.
