Preliminary (10/12 eps)
I was pleasantly delighted at how good it was. There are many reasons that made Kotoura-san anime stand out from all your usual "highschool romantic comedy" types. Despite its origins as a four panel strips, story content was taken and could say, 'remastered' into an enjoyable series.

It dives deep into a darken past painful vivid memories; where it can be one of most scarring moments of a child's life. As a child enduring bullying, I can thoroughly sympathize with what Kotoura Haruka grew up with and how she developed into a shy, low-confident character.

The animation is represented with colors that depict events. Expressive characters - each with their roles to fill, I was pleased that here was the male lead who was vital in changing the other character's life. (usually boys in these shows have little plot meaning.) and every character has their own purpose and helps timid Kotoura to open up to friends.

Events that shows both comical goofiness, or even touching sad moments together. A recommended show for people with open interest.
