The story I thought was fairly original, and was pretty good. The only thing was, I felt that the story kind of just dragged itself on.

I thought that Mawaru Penguindrum had a lovable cast: nice and kind Himari, playboy Kanba, and normal Shouma. The only character that annoyed me was Shoumas penguin. His penguin did nothing but get in the way. The penguin didnt even know about the penguindrum either.
Enjoyment:9
I enjoyed it a lot because of the unique plot and plot twists. Although it does seem a bit childish at first, it does get darker and better. But as I said before, sometimes the story just drags itself untill something finally happens.

Go and watch it, there is romance, and comedy, yet it is also very serious, along with many revealed pasts, deaths, and plot twists.
