Story:
The story centers on Mirai, A young girl who has to take her Younger brother Yuuki out to a Robot Convention, Mirai is one of those Teens who seem to dislike her parents and take for granted other family members. She basically wishes for something to happen and that something happens, An Earthquake that measured 8.0, From this they are helped by Mari who's mission is to get them both back to their parents, The series follows the adventure traveling back to their home to find out if their parents are alive or not.
Characters:
What makes this series a really good one, is the character development, You see through this tragic event of the earthquake, Mirai, Matures and becomes more thankful to people who help her and also due to this we can see her brother Yuuki real side to her, and loving side that she didn't see before.
Tragedy can bring people together and that is what is portrayed wonderfully in this series.
Overview:
For me this series is a 8/9 out of 10, Its something Unique, Story has its fair share of Drama and Lighthearted moments, You really become attached to these characters by the way the Story hardly shifts it's focus from the 3 characters and it does feel like an Epic Journey.
Being 11 Episodes is the perfect length for this series, It didn't overstay its welcome but put enough content for a good & satisfying ending.
This series does really show the plight from a massive disaster, How many innocent lives are lost and the massive destruction of your home/town or city, But when hard times hits everyone, people are resilient and find strength to carry on and help others.
So go and watch this series, Its a superb series and worth your time watching, even though its quite short at 11 Episodes.
