THIS ANIME IS A FREAKING MASTER PIECE. MY MOST FAVORITE ANIME/MANGA OF ALL TIME. Why? It has a good plot, awesome characters so awesome I can't hate any of them (well.....maybe some....), the animations are all beast, so is the music, it has comedy, action, supernatural elements to it, it's just so AWESOME, I mean I re-read the whole manga like 2 times already even though it just ended, I re-watched the whole anime 5 times too.
A lot of people don't like this anime just because there's a lot of yaoi fangirls and the first 20 episodes (reason why I think its underrated) . I was like that too when I first read the manga and when when my friend said that it was so beast and gave the latest volume to read and I was immediately hooked! So i tried reading it again and found that the first arc really amusing, even now me and my friends are fangirling about how awesome Tsuna is!>//////< (no yaoi plz it makes us puke)
Anyways what I'm saying is give this a chance if you're droping it just because of the first 20 episodes you are really missing out on something, I mean it's SOOO interesting that there is a crap load of fangirls and fanboys. Really, I dare you bet you won't regret it.
