Firstly, it starts off as not even the typical anime. From the very beginning I was intrigued by the story line and plot. So much that I couldn't imagine life without such a insignificant storyline...Pretty lame right? I Dropped tears during this epic thriller. It had action, adventure, and even more. Its all about governmental schemes, and just telling the story from all points of view. Showing how things can change you.
Secondly, As the story climaxes both light, and dark it is full of pain, sadness, and especially regret.. I dont wanna tell you a single thing other than its contents. If youre even the slightest bit interested In anime I recommend this...
The two main characters, although the main characters branch out..
Are Rat(Nezumi), and Shion.
One a privileged student with brains, whose both book smart and naive. Believing everything has good intentions.
And the other Nezumi a modern day Bad azz whose tormented past leads him to believe there can be no future. Hunted down by (XXX) because of (xxx) in order to solidify (xxx) etc.
Both meet the world and see it from all points of view...
With and inescapable journey they push forward attacking all sides.
While trying to save Shion's girl, and shion.
they both lose themselves to save each other(Mentally) but the ups and downs continue leaving a wander at the perfect ending.
this is my first review and probably not the best.
But believe me this is a legendary anime. Never will another come as close to this.
I hope you cry for hours as I did, my heart dropped into my lap...As if I could feel it faint of beat. I honestly wish they made more as grand as this. it is how they say a once in a lifetime storyline.
