It all started when LAin Iwakura, the protagonist in the anime received an e-mail from her classmate that has already died.
She said that she just abandoned her body, but she still lives in the wired.

She then develop her personalitybut the deeper she explores the wired, the more mysteries and discoveries she found. About the mystery of the wired, and how it is connected to the real world, and more imporatntly about her real identity.
Animefans who are into mystery, cyber, pdychological and unusual anime will sure like this as much as i do. But if they are into happy type anime, there is a huge possibility that they will just get bored. so, to those who are interested in this, be sure to watch this.. it's worth watching..
