This is the 2nd gall force movie from 1987, wich continues first with the destruction of the enemy homeworld , as well the comeback of 1 crewmember from movie 1, here is were the story goes further and reveals a it more about the war, same animation, same soundtracks and a bit repetitive spacefights with some new persons to introduce ( wich trought the gall force saga are rein-carnations of the 1st gall force persons, only diffrent names) but still quite ok.
