Mind blowing is what I define for Clannad ~ After Story.

When I finished the original Clannad, I feel it as sligtly above average. It was good but lack of information. So, my priority toward the Clannad - aS was a bit low. But when I saw the rating is surprisingly high, it made me give it a try. The first couple episodes didn't get me much of attention. They are just like the first series. But then, it quickly gets better and better. When I reached the mid way of the story, it starts to be so so so touching that it just drains all the tear out of my eye. To be honest, I was quite surprised to see so much tears coming out. It's really this good. The ending first is a bit confusing at first, but it provides a dot which links to all the mysteries which started since episode 1 of Clannad. Now it makes more sense, and it really makes me wanting to do a rewatch as soon as possible.

The art is fine as usual. It is as good as it used to be. The orbs, and the explosion at the end look really amazing. That makes the story really entertaining.

The sounds are from the first series. But they're still great. And the songs are tear pushers. Really love the songs especially the Dango ending song. Without them, I don't think I would feel the way I do now.

The character is amazing as usual. Their activities are slightly changed, of course, they're grown up now. But that, that provides a totally new feeling and experience toward this anime. And each of them provides a different slice of life. It's like a TV to figuratively see the real world. Each person provides a different kind of life and different kind of life. It's quite realistic sometimes.

I really enjoyed Clannad ~ after story so much. It's touching, funny, and it gives a thing or two about family. Overall, this is a very interesting anime to watch. Compare with other in touching component, this one is really touchy. I have never ever experienced that kind of tears in any movie, or in real life. If you are still wondering if you should watch this one or not, I suggest you do watch it, and see how good it really is.
