Inuyasha has been one of those anime's that I've grew up watching. The background story and character development were outstanding. It did not leave me hanging at the end, not too many side characters, a bit of school life and lots of action. The romance were not to intimidate, but there were many cute and memorable scenes with the two main characters (Inuyasha and Kagome) + the love triangle between his past lover (Kikyo) just makes everything better with a little hint of drama and jealousy. It has a bit of every genre that I look for in an anime, fantasy/romance/adventure/action etc. It's kind of a old anime, but believe me, it's worth watching. The art may not be what you're looking for but as seasons go on, the art gets a lot better. There are also about 200 episodes, so if you're looking for something to do to past the time, watch it!
