End of Evangelion was definitely a "surreal" movie to say the least. After watching the opening scene, I was quite scared for what would happen next, but EOE did not disappoint.

It serves as an alternate or retelling of the final two episodes of the series which left many fans alienated and baffled to say the least. The film provides the actual process of instrumentality, while sticking true to the introspective scenes many of us have come to know and love. The characters are a bit...insane, to say the least, but their personalities shine just as they did in NGE.

Despite its controversial content, EOE coherently wrapped up the series in a beautiful way that finally provided some answers to the fans. Packed with memorable scenes (Asuka's battle) and amazing imagery, EOE will definitely a movie that will never be forgotten.
