I remember watching this in collage subed and absolutly loving it, even skipped a few english classes to watch, the a few years later my neice is telling me about it playing on ytv at 11:00 and it's in english. Here i was so incredibly excited about getting to watch it over again, and from the start. and sadly i found myself not loving it nearly as much as i once had. now usualy I'm not one that must have her anime subed only and how dare anyone watch it anyother way, but for me there was just something missing from the english version for me that i can't quite pinpoint but it lost some of its magic.

As for the story itself, i love it, sure it's long but it manages to keep you entertaind the whole way through and i can't think of a single time when i thought it was getting repetitive which is so easy to do in this type of anime. sure some of the characters are sterotypical, theres always gotta be one perv in the show, but you know you do end up rooting for and loving the character for it. you just roll your eyes and think well thats just him for you. On top of that you have some absolutly beautiful art work though out the series. some on the silly side but some beautiful pieces to.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this anime and plan on rewatching it, I just wish i never watched the dubbed version.
