Lots of blood and gore. I find the entire anime to be vey emotional. In the beginning, the story was kinda slow but once you get a grasp of what is going on, the show can get very emotional. I had a lot of empathy for the characters in this anime. They suffered so much pain and loss from living in such a cruel world. Yet what is nice about this anime is the amount of hope the characters still have to achieve happiness and what they would have to sacrifice to enjoy even a drop of that goal. It get you thinking about how cruel fate can be and the human struggle against that fate.
For such a short anime, I feel there is a lot to this anime. I don't think I covered everything and I'm upset that I couldn't.
