A review for the whole series of Clannad
' Will you afraid of losing something that you don't dare even getting it in the first place.' There are things that may not stay with us forever, but simply due to the fear of losing it, not getting it is more pathetic. We have to chase for what we believe and love. This is exactly what Clannad taught me.
Clannad is an anime that no longer how many times I watch it, I can't stop tears from flowing down from my cheeks. Clannad is also the only anime I cannot hold back my tears.
The first time that I watched this anime, it was like' eek, how low can the quality of computer graphics be'. When I was about to drop it, I saw Nagisa standing under a sakura tree. I was like freezes, the scene is so beautiful and impressive. I can't even find a word to describe it. As I continued watching, I felt warm as if I were like a character in the story. I felt warm for the kindliness of Tomoya, the gentleness of Nagisa, the faithfulness of Sunohana and the passion of their friends. I felt great. I just love their personalities.
The first season is not as vigorous in the degree of tear-jerking as the second season. However, the first season [maybe I shouldn't talk much here] shows the beauty of mankind. That people although act differently but they are kind in the basis. Second season tells us to forgive and not to give up hope. They together tell us to live strong and be aware that life is nothing without friends and hope.
Watching one of the season without watching another is a humiliation to Clannad. Since either missing Clannad or After Story breaks the beauty of it.
Lastly, I still feel grateful that I did not stupidly dropped this epic anime only due to this poor graphics.[ Well, after all, the graphics is really not too poor, since the story is so fabulous. Having such a minor insufficiency is insignificant.] And to be honest, I am watching Clannad again, this will be my 8th time to cry for an anime.
