If nothing else, Mirai Nikki was on hell of a psychological thriller that kept you on the edge of your seat after almost every episode. Why is that you may ask, well I'll tell you why.....

Character:

Gasai Yuno (Yuno), thats why. This 14 year old high school girl is probably the most fucked in the head anime character I have seen in recent memory. She is straight up mental, and I'm sure that anyone who has seen the anime can attest to that.

Throughout the anime, she falls for the other main protagonist, Amano Yukiteru (Yuki), whose personality is a little different from Yuno's. Yuki is more a little faggot boy high school reject. He doesn't really have much friends, and tends to keep to himself for that most part, even when Yuno was straight up throwing her crazy self right at him, he would just push her away

Now near the end of the anime, Yuki does even up growing some balls, and he even manages to get himself laid (yes with yuno). It seemed as though this weirdo ass relationship between the two was going to work, until..... he found out that the Yuno that he fucked was actually a Yuno from the past who won the game and became god, but was really lonely without Yuki so she went into the future and killed the Yuno of that timeline and became the new Yuno of that timeline in order to be with the Yuki of that timeline. Told you she was one crazy bitch.

Storyline

Mirai Nikki had a pretty unique story line to it. A game set up by the worlds deteriorating "god" with 12 contestants, where the winner of the game gets the prize of becoming the new god. How do you win the game? Simple, just kill everyone else in the game.

The anime itself wasn't too difficult to follow for the most part, everything was happening at a very reasonable pace... that is until the end. The ending of the anime was a giant mass of cluster fuck. There was so much shit going on that it was really difficult to really understand what was going on, it kinda seemed a little rushed (another episode or two could've helped maybe), and the ending itself was a little predictable (which is really unlike the way the entire anime was going). Though all in all, if you focused and really concentrated, you should be able to follow the ending and understand what happened, though whether or not you will like the ending is a different story.

Conclusion

Mirai Nikki was really intense anime, with a very unique story line. The character development was top notch, with Gasai Yuno easily being the perfect character to keep you on the edge of your seat after every episode.

Overall it was a very injoyable experience, I would definitely say that its worth a watch.

Rating: 7.8/10

(I know i gave it a 8/10 up top and on my anime list, thats because i couldn't give it a 7.8 and it was better then a 7)

Thanks for reading!
