The story drags itself. Characters that seem to be essential to the plot just disapear in the middle of the story, like Hunter John Doe and his cats and even the main vilain! The side stories of the suport characters are left mostly untouched and are boring. The main characters don't evolve, don't learn anything from previous encounters with other enemies, and at a certain point the heroin is able to performe a mysterious and awesome atack, only to have it never used or even mencioned again!

Also, the setting of a dream is poorly explored. The art of the characters are fine, but the background is inexpressive. They could have made it awesome and beautiful, even surreal. Instead, the scenery is static, mostly unchangeable, like a fighting game background.
