To start out with the storyline is pretty good and it interests you for a little while but it really seems to drag on without too many differences between each episode, the only thing that varies is the people they meet. The character design for the main characters is pretty good but for the demons and such that Inuyasha and company come across the character development honestly kind of sucks. Everyone they come into contact with after a certain point is boring and 2D, at first you were interested as to who they would meet on their travels but there are only so many different variations of bad guys you came run into before they become awfully generic. I think it appealed to me as a kid because, when you're younger, you are entertained by bad guys, loud noises and just general mayhem and if that's what you're looking for then this is probably a pretty good choice for you. Inuyasha was my favorite show for a while but looking back on it.... it really wasn't anything too special at all.
