This anime is probably one of the best I have seen in a while. I can honestly say that it's the first anime that I have seen in a really long time that has kept me so addicted and enticed.

This anime is good for every anime and manga fan in several ways. The first reason being that it's really educational. We see a lot of fans bashing mangaka and not giving them as much of their appreciation as much as they should. In watching just the first season, I have learned so much manga and the trials that mangaka go through. There are things I would have probably never learned if I didn't watch Bakuman.

Watching Bakuman has made me appreciate manga and anime more than ever did before, and it also makes me appreciate the mangaka more. I have learned through Moritaka Mashiro and Akito Takagi that mangaka really do work hard and that they deserve more than what the settle for and receive from their fans.

The character development is well done, and coming from Ohba Sensei, who did a poor portrayal of females in Death Note, even the females were written well! I don't particularly dislike any character because I think they all have something special to offer to the series.

The plot is well-written, although it's often slow at times. However, there are simple and delicate scenes that are going to boil your blood with excitement.

Overall, I would recommend this anime to everyone who is curious about learning more about the manga and anime world. It's definitely one of my favorite anime, and everything about it was simply exquisite.
