Shion, our kind and gentle main character, was raised in No. 6, a city that gives everything to their citizens allowing them to live without worries or regrets. However, there is never really a perfect society and Shion begins to figure this out after his encounter with Nezumi. Shion and Nezumi begin to unravel the secrets of NO.6, leading the viewers on an emotional action filled journey.
As for the relationship between Nezumi and Shion.. I love it. I absolutely love how Nezumi and Shion had such an impact on each others lives from their first time meeting that neither one can truly live without each other. The love between these characters, whether it was a strong friendship or romance, it just stole all of your feelings and smacked you in the face with it.
All in all, it was just a great anime and an even better manga.
