The story and premises aren't quite original thenselves but the lack of new mangas/anime with this kind of setting on the actual anime and manga escene it's like water on the desert. Ok... there is SOME fan-service but this kind of things are ussual on the bussiness.
Finally, what in this manga really excelsis is on the characters: Momiji (the Binbougami) and Sakura (the main character) are both perfect caricatures of what they represent and that, combined with all the twists they show makes this a perfectly light-hearted comedy in which you know what you'll get: lots of laughs without any other thing diluted in.
I'm not gonna dig too much on the future development of the anime (I've read the manga) but there won't be a lot of romance or drama: just humour so don't wait for that.
Just to make a comparison: it remids me Ranma 1/2 in terms of humour.
