A little late for a review on this one. Oh well. X3

The history of humanity is covered in blood. Through history, countless battles were fought. Thousands of lives were lost. Thousands of cities were turned into collateral damage. Often, the greatest battles of humanity had come with a reward to the winner, while the losers would bathe in defeat. Now, this bloody cycle continues. In modern Japan, our modern warriors fight for an oh-so-modern prize. . . . . Discounted Box Lunches!!!!!

Well, that pretty much sums it up. Oh, I forgot one last thing. A Harem! Although it seems that they tried a little too hard on trying to shove all that fighting and emotion into a Harem. At times, it even seems stressful just to try to take the serious parts serious, and the funny parts, well, funny. But it's not that big of a drawback.

The art is pretty good. It fits perfectly well with the whole "convenience-store war" thing they have going on. It has a colorful array of places, as well as characters, and it also adds a little aesthetic cuteness to the scene. So there will be a little bit of moe.

The sound is spectacular. I was very impressed with the OP, especially. They made the right choice on Aimi to sing this. The ED was nice as well. They also had little insert songs for each supermarket, an element which I found pretty cute. (Especially the Tokiwa Supaa)

Finally, I can very much say Ben-to would be a good watch for all types of anime fans. I can't say for the ones who would dive in an anime for a deep plot though, since the plot isn't really that deep (A little shallow even). But all in all, I would say this should be a plus one to any otaku's "to watch list"
