I'm going to keep it simple. Neon Genesis Evangelion is the most intellectually stimulating thing I've seen. As the TV series ended, I found myself confused and even a little disappointed. But as I viewed this film, End Of Evangelion, and everything was brought together, I was simply astounded. The artistry and thought behind every detail is something I have never experienced in an anime like this. This movie ends on a very abrupt note, but is not disappointing. It instead leaves room for interpretation and speculation, while putting a closer on the main story of Evangelion. In short, it is a genuine work of art.
