Story 10
This is arguably the best story in any anime I have ever watched and it spanned the full spectrum of emotions I laughed, I cried, I was angry, I was sad this anime will move you in ways that you didn’t think you could be moved by any form of media. After Story’s plot is far deeper and a more emotional story than most anime writers are brave enough to go. The story picks up where the prequel left off with the main characters still at high school and then proceeds to cove the next ten years of their life with a heavy focus on the two mains in the second half of the anime while the first half of the story explores the relationships that we never really got to see in the prequel. Each story is deep and bittersweet yet you feel happy at the each story. The most emotional scenes of the series happen in the last half of the story and while the overall emotion is a dark cloud of sadness rays of happiness and hope shine through and make you feel for the characters and what they are going through. What really moves you about this story is that for the most part it is a story that could and probably has happened in real life, I truly enjoyed this story more than any anime I have ever watched.
Art 10
The art was beautifully done the characters and landscapes were perfectly done every scene was intricate and detailed, the animaters did an excellent job they each character was done in excellent detail every scene was beautiful especially the snow and cherry blossom scenes.
Sound 10
The music was very well done the songs suited each scene perfectly the intro and outro were great and the BGM was supported the scenes adding to the emotional atmosphere.
Character 10
I loved each character in this series I could not fault any of the mains or the supporting they all were unique and interesting each had their own story and added to the overall story. Their development was incredible, one of this series strong points and you could relate to all of the characters and you felt for all of them. The personalities of the characters were excellent and I found myself liking all of the characters, I could find at least one good point in each character and more than one for most. Overall I really liked each of the supporting characters and loved the mains.
Enjoyment 10
I truly enjoyed this anime more so than any anime I have watched in the past and it will remain the most emotionally impacting anime I will most likely ever watch, I cannot express properly how much I liked this anime in words it is something you simply have to watch yourself and be moved by, though I will continue to re-watch this series many more times and I don’t think I will ever get sick of it nor will I ever stop being moved by it.
Overall 10
This is an anime you simply have to watch to understand just how emotionally heavy it is, I would recommend this to everyone (if you’re a crier watch out as you will ball your eyes out for most of the series) it is a series that everyone can enjoy and feel for as is covers the issues that arise with high school and then growing up and becoming part of the adult world and how harsh life can be this is the first (and most likely only) anime that I will give a score of 10 across the board. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
