I've watched this once when it had originally aired through Adult Swim and thought I'd take a dive into nostalgia one last time before the new Eureka Seven Ao began, and it was wonderful. By far one of my favorite anime I've ever had the pleasure to rewatch. The character development is phenomenal and I LOVED the animations/artstyle that was provided with it.
As a whole, I felt highly pleased after seeing the ending and I look forward to the reboot/second season (if you will). It gives a nice combination of comedy, romance, and mech and I can probably say this pleased me just as much as Gurren Lagann, if not MORE. If you're reading any review on this and have even the slightest of interest in it, I'd suggest it if you haven't already seen it.
