everything works in a boring fashion
the plot, which never gives you enough space to develop, (money,drugs,corruption)
i would be ok with that but the fact of the matter is,
it just doesn't deliver
with the exception of Balalaika and Roberta, i found no other character worthy to keep my eye on as the events accumulated to a so-called climax
everyone else is either weak to face his/her destiny, or continuously bitching about it, and of course our so loved main characters are kept away from harm as they witness the fall of their enemies portrayed in a sugar-coated false sense of tragedy
at some point i wanted to shout to the director (kill Revy if you dare, hell kill off anyone of your main staff, just make things more interesting for fuck's sake)
in the end it was time wasted
though someone pointed out that there's a continuation of the story in the form of 5 ova episodes
i wonder...
