Found Mirai Nikki by typing "best anime 2012" into google and clicking the first link. One of the best decisions ever made! Mirai Nikki is a thriller in which the characters play their role until the end. 12 characters gain the power to see the future by Deus Ex (the God of Time and Space) through use of their individual diaries. Each diary has its unique advantage as well as its own disadvantage that helps the character survive (or die). The story line isn't why people should watch this Anime. Yuno - the main female plays the best Yandere I have ever seen. Obsessed with the main Male lead -Yuuki, Yuno protects him until the very end. Yuno is beautiful, smart, and resourceful but when watchers learn what she is really capable of its both scary and fascinating. If you read the Manga then you know that this anime also has a surprise twist at the end.
