OVA's tend to bring on a bit of skepticism as they are short and too the point. Most of the time you need to know the background story of the OVA to get involved or you find yourself sorely disappointed with the addition to a show you waited so long for. Araiso however manages to shake off these assumptions and hold it's own as a fun enjoyable OVA.

Araiso follows the story of Tokitou and Kobota whom are originally from the manga Wild Adapter. Araiso is an OVA adaptation of the manga of the same name that follows the more carefree side of there school live while Wild Adapter focuses on there private affairs.

The stories are light hearted with alot of sexual innuendo's between the two. They often tease each other like a jealous couple with misleading scenes and sexual phrases. The two have fun with it though, while at the same time showing there true affection.

Each episode is a stand alone story of them at school. One following a day of athletics in which both of them are begged to join teams because of there unholy athletic talents. The other episode follows a more supernatural note slightly more reminiscent of Wild Adapter in which spirits are released in the school and they have to go and exorcise them.

Overall the episodes are fun, the characters are easy to get to know and the supporting characters are just as fun and interesting.

I highly recommend this OVA to fans of Kazuya Minekura, fans of shonen ai, or anyone who is just looking for a fun slice of life with supernatural overtones.
