Bakuman is a shonen anime about creating a first rate manga and someday turning that manga into an anime series. With the added bonus of Slice of life and romcance. This anime teaches you how a manga artist goes through in life into creating a manga. Our story revolves around Mashiro and Takagi who team up together to pursue their dream of creating a manga series that will rival popular manga like Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Dragonball and Hunter X Hunter. They hope to one day to serialize it and turn it into an anime. But they have a rival Nizuma Eiji who is a manga prodigy and creating new manga left and right. Mashiro and Takagi goal is to beat Nizuma Eiji and be number one in Mainstream manga. They meet the editor of Yushia(Shueshia) Shonen Jack(Jump) Hattori who helps them make their manga better.!!!!This anime is captivating and inspirational and teaches the hardship a manga artist goes through daily.
Have you ever wonder how legendary Mangka artist- Kishimoto's Naruto, Kubo's Bleach, Oda's One Piece, Gintama went though in creating their manga, Well every mangka artist all go through the same process. Meeting certain deadlines or risking getting cancelled!!! Creating a manga takes months and needs a lot of time and effort. Manga artist aren't known yet until they publish their first manga. Like with Mashiro and Takagi- their manga needs to critiqued and if needed make any necessary changes to make it better.
This is one of the most addicting/inspirational anime I have ever seen. Making me wanting to watch the next episode. I am so glad there is Bakuman season 3
