THIS WAS INSANE.

This movie challenges boundaries of our mind, it's written with multiple plot points that make sense, yet I was not able to figure out
any of the answers that were right before my eyes. It has so many cool and interesting concepts that humans cannot know the answer of, not now, not ever. If I were to give an example, this movie feels like what you feel when you try to think how our universe is infinite, and what infinite means. Or what happens when your existence completely disappears, what is nothingness? Yeah, that feeling.

First of all, I'd like to assume all anime enjoyers appreciate art. And believe me when I say this, this movie is a piece of art. From beautiful illustrations to fluid animation, it has everything. Not only that, but the usage of those abstract backgrounds was really annoying in the original series at least for me, but in this movie, it actually became something I appreciated. It was still as chaotic ever, but it was way easier to understand and so much better drafted.

Second is the soundtracks, HOLY S-. I felt like I was listening to a dream. I honestly might have blacked out every time a soundtrack was playing, I genuinely don't know how I was able to keep my focus on the show itself.

And the story? From what I wrote in my first paragraph, you might be guessing what I have to say. But it's so well thought-out and every single decision is so up to debate (in a good way) that I felt like I was not only watching a story unfold but also living in it.

Listen now, I don't know how I went from calling the season "meh, it was good" from forcefully watching this movie and then putting this up there as my favorite movie that I've seen up to date as im writing this (up until 2025) but this movie skyrocketed my thoughts on this franchise as a whole and I can't explain how much I'm excited for the new movie coming out.

Only thing I'm sad about is that not everyone who watches this will be able to comprehend how amazing this movie was. It's a complex one, and I'm sad that I won't be able to share this with everyone.

Absolute cinema, 10/10.
