If you have no interest in cooking and food characteristics in general - this is definitely not for you. Every time I watched an episode, I felt a dire need to try and cook something new. And the storyline is quite good. Wouldn't call it the best, but it's interesting and original. The characters are well developed, although the main one once again falls into the dumb guy category. The backstory lines don't feel overused, although in some places it leaves quite a few question marks. The story in sometimes is profoundly serious and deep, yet the animation used and way of storytelling makes it quite lighthearted despite the darker themes.

The art style is perfect for making every dish look insanely delicious.
