I read this one-shot because of a youtube recommendation video (by TrentinArt) and ended up really enjoying it. It felt disappointing that there was no review yet, so I figured I would make one.
The story is a comfy slice-of-life in the sticks, since it's so short I won't go into more detail. The art really won me over with it's detailed, dynamic expressions and the movements of the characters were also really well portrayed. The paneling as well does a great job giving the impactful moments space or dedicating several similar panels to detailing the minute differences in facial expression a character is undergoing.
The main characters are a aloof, silent boy and a exuberant girl, who bounce off each other well and are likeable, although naturally neither one gets too much development. The manga made me a chuckle a couple of times and I would like to see a longer series from this author.
The 6 as a score is not meant to be taken as it being mid or anything, I just don't really give especially high scores to short series/one-shots since there is not that much of it and while I found this one very enjoyable it was not like it had a huge personal impact. I still whole-heartedly recommend reading it.
