Tokidoki Bosotto Russia-go de Dereru Tonari no Alya-san is an anime that I like, its romantic comedy, the theme of the misunderstanding with the language is fun, its characters are nice, little by little it builds more on the relationship of the protagonists and the subplots are interesting even if it is nothing that one has not already seen, it really won its public but unfortunately it has several points to find that did not let me raise the score, which are:
1- The series begins with a good pace with an excellent plot development until chapter 5, after 6 to 12 you know the author did not want to make a short story deciding to release the plot with all those subplots that appear all together suddenly like the small comedy scenes that do not contribute anything like the chapter of hypnosis, unnecessarily releasing the plot.
2- The theme of the misunderstanding of the language is not being exploited as it should be, leaving many scenes obvious and predictable since the author is putting all his effort into it. The plot of the student council elections is very boring, turning those elections into a US president election only damages the plot, that would have been resolved in just 4 chapters and the plot would have been more fluid to continue developing the romantic relationship
3- The main character Kujou, Alisa Mikhailovna, although she has a nice design, her personality and motivations are flat, making her overshadowed by the other characters, seeing that the public is more connected with the character of Suou, Yuki, and wanting to put a maid in all the school anime because they are popular in Japan is already getting too old, that joke has sworn that it had to be a maid Kimishima, Ayano, I think it would not have been interesting if she were a cousin or another character with other motivations
