I have never written a review before. I know great writers and I know people who can understand stories so well that I feel like I'm just reading a picture book. Compared to them, what worth do my words have? They worked hard to get there, they failed so many times to succeed, they drew their 10,000 bad pictures. I know I have to write to get better but standing at the bottom, how can I imagine myself at the top?
This manhwa overflows with emotions. The characters are exaggerated and often feel like the physical manifestations of intrusive thoughts. For the majority of the story they are selfish and unlikable and unpleasant. I love them.
I write this for no other reason than I have these words to say and want to say them. And after reading Chasing Lilies I don't think I can ignore that.
