It is one of those series like "Lost":
- they keep the mistery alive till the last episode, then the last episode doesn't explain shit.
- some weird convoluted "mistery" as an excuse to mash thousands of genres together and call it "all part of the mistery". is it fantasy? future? past? crime? thriller? why not everything at the same time, while failing at them all?
Spend a whole series watching this and then realize nothing actually happened. the plot didn't move at all. still same characters, still same goals, nothing changed and nothing progressed.
I even watched the first episode of the second season because FINALLY it felt like something was going to happen...But no. Second season starts the same way: avoiding the plot and introducing new characters to avoid progressing the story.
I honestly think not even the author knows where this story is heading to. It's like he's writng without a clear goal and without having an idea of what he wants to write about.
Watch this if you like Gooning without a happy ending.
