I wanted to write my review on this before it got more popular and might eventually get overrated.
What makes this manga great in my opinion is its depiction of a story that doesn't make either side too evil or too good. while the church is no less bad than Satan by forcing the poor boy to fight against Satan alone. As for Satan, they had their own reasons, which didn't make them look much better. There is also the witch faction which is the third party. from my understanding, they were probably unfairly punished by the church and had to join the witches. It makes the story more diverse and not too one-dimensional. Although the overall story was a bit generic for me. which isn't always bad thing because generic stuff can be more appealing if it executed well
One of my favorite things is the Biblical verses. As a Non-Christian like me, they are so powerful that I was momentarily stunned while reading them, they're just really really really great....
As for the characters, they are as well written as the story. which in my opinion priest boy He deserves to live and grow up like any other child. Including being able to love without feeling shame, and Imuri, the Lord of Lust, who was sent to seduce a boy who was confused about what he really wanted in life. She is a great character. although she is a satan in disguise, she doesn't seem as evil as other satans. imo she just wanted the one thing the priest boy wanted. That is love and peaceful life. this is the greatest feeling that this manga wants to express. In addition, many of the supporting characters and antagonists are interesting.
In terms of art, it is good and has a unique drawing and design style. The layout of the pages is well done and easy to digest.
Although the bi-weekly schedule may be quite long. But I think it's definitely worth it for such high quality work. It's definitely worth the wait for each chapter.
