That’s the theme of the series! The life of an adult that we forgot when we were kids... Mitsuboshi Colors is the remainder of that time, daily life, with no real goal whatsoever but always busy with something, playing around, searching around, and troubling the adults as their troublemaking protector.
Mitsuboshi Colors holds a soft place in my heart and is a really special anime for me. It’s an episodic show, and to be honest, this thing is perfect how it is. The animation, character design, and their foolishness were their intelligence. Everything was so spot-on.
The city and the people of the city were so well visualized. Every day, Colors learns about new things and gets one step closer to protecting their city. Throughout their assigned mission, they learn and teach us something that we have lost. Like in Halloween, where they made the whole city attracted to come together to make their mission successful. Lots of things happened and are still happening because they will be continued because colors still exist, and that tree is where they put their memories. And after 10 years, those memories will be more vivid than ever, just like our childhood.
